Banyak sangat yang aku lalui. Daripada tak reti, terus expert buat aising menutup kek. Dulu lama sangat. Asyik menambah2 buttercream. Sampai kadang2 give up nak cantikkan kek yang telah ditutupi dengan buttercream. Bukan senang mahupun mudah sebab perlukan kesabaran di dada dan minda. Haha :) Bila dah tiap2 minggu balik buat tempahan kek kahwin, aku mula laju dalam setiap kerja2 yang aku lakukan. Aku tahu aku masih baru dalam lakukan semua ni. Ada yang lebih expert dari aku, lebih berpengalaman dari aku. Bukan aku nak menunjuk2 pada dunia tentang kelebihan aku tapi nak berkongsi suka duka aku. Banyak yang aku tempohi.

oral english(speech) - what is macaron?

Assalamualaikum and Good morning to Miss Harlini and my lovely friends. Today, I want share with you about macaron. This year some people love to talk about macaron. What is macaron? Its name is derived from an Italian word "maccarone" or "maccherone". This word is itself derived from ammaccare, meaning crush or beat, used here in reference to the almond paste which is the principal ingredient. It’s a sweet confectionery made with egg whites, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond, and food coloring. The macaron is commonly filled with butter cream or jam filling sandwiched between two cookies.
Now, we will move on to their history about macaron. Macarons are typically known as traditional French cookies but there are claims that they originated in Italy and debuted in France when Catherine de’Medici, daughter of noble duke of Florence, Lorenzo Il de’Medici, married French King Henry II (1543). When she moved to France, it is believed that she brought along her cooks and bakers and introduced a variety of pastries to the French. It wasn’t until 1792 that macarons gained fame when two Carmelite nuns seeking asylum in Nancy during the French Revolution baked and sold macarons in order to support themselves. These macarons were a simple combinations of ground almonds, egg whites and sugar. No flavours. No filling. Just 100% cookie. Next, It wasn’t until the 20th century when pastry chef, Pierre Desfontaines decided to join two macaron shells together with a flavoured ganache which is the version people recognise and love today. That’s all I have to talk about their history.
Macarons look like small and round shells. The confectionery is characterized by its smooth, domed top, ruffled circumference and flat base. It is mildly moist and easily melts in the mouth. Today, there are many flavor options designed to be filling macaron. A variety of colors can also attract people to try it. it has become a trend nowadays, macaron made wedding. In addition, has also been famous macaron bakery business in a small scale. Moreover, the children like to eat something sweet like macaron.
Lastly, the macaron is a sweet pastry and can be eaten by all age groups. Although it is small, it is now in the dining wherever you go for breakfast, afternoon tea and midnight snack.
